On Saturday, October 18th, a pasta fundraiser was held for FRYSA. The league, through the generous efforts of Joshua Hetzler and Michaela Gagne, received an AED - Automated External Defibrillator. Board members, coaches and volunteers will be receiving First Aid/CPR training during the winter months and specific training on the use of an AED. By establishing an automated external defibrillator program, Fall River Youth Soccer is taking an important step toward preventing death from sudden cardiac arrest in the organization and the community.

Go World! To celebrate the world coming together in Beijing for the 2008 Olympics, FRYSA will be organizing its league teams by international countries. For the first time, players will be provided international uniforms with names like Portugal, United States, Italy, and Brazil. Come watch the boys and girls of the city create Fall River's own "parade of nations" each Saturday.
